Samson sits at the feet of Delilah who try to lure out his secret from him. When the next opportunity arrives, Samson's enemies come in and want Delilah to give up the secret in exchange for riches. Delilah rejoices in the gold but is saddened because she does not know Samson's secret. The next time they meet she lures out the secret, and when Samson falls asleep, they cut his hair.

Susanna refuses their offer to do sinful things. People come as she screams. Later the elders accuse her of lying with a young man and want to condemn her to death. When she is led toward her execution, the boy Daniel speaks up about her innocence. After some investigation, the two elders are found guilty instead.
