A woman dies and leaves her two children without a family. They are thrown out of their home and find themselves alone in the forest. An angel appears and shows them to Saint Mary. The Virgin drops a thread of wool down to the earth which guides the children to the pearly gates where they ring the bell. The gates open and they are surrounded by angels and reunited with their mother.
