A worker, full of health and vigor, is affected by a terrible disease: Leprosy. From that moment on, all his friends fled him, including his fiancée who left him for someone else. Only his mother and his faithful dog stay with him. Days pass and only a few kids enter the garden. During one of these intrusions, the children cruelly mistreat the dog. The unfortunate leper tries in vain to intervene but the animal is kidnapped and stoned. His mother, exhausted by illness, dies. Heartbroken, alone and friendless, the unfortunate seeks refuge in death thinking it is the only way for him to escape his suffering.
