There is no description of this 1905 version, but it is probably similar to the 1909 remake by Pathé Frères, or that they rereleased it later. If so, it is about a father who goes fishing but is instead tempted to smuggle fish. He is caught and put in prison. At home, his daughter and the poor family are in need, so she writes a letter to God to release the father and bring food. The letter is taken by a bird, and then a boy finds it and brings it to his father who is the Count, and thus has the connections in order to get the father freed.
