In 1909 "Le Bonne Presse", a Catholic publishing house, produced a few shows containing colored glass slides and film clips. Together with music and a lecturer they could tell the story and engage the audience. One of the films, not surprisingly since the year before "Bonne Presse" was sold to the privately owned société civile La Jeanne d’Arc, was a show about Joan of Arc. The show consisted of 32 slides and 7 film sequences.
