This is the second part of the film that two abbots(Abbot Mulsant and Abbot Chevalier) made a journey to the Holy Land in 1904, the other being "Palestine: Programme Biblique" to get some footage for their lectures. In eighteen months, they gave over 250 lectures using this material. It was in March 2007 that these films were discovered by Lobster Films who restored them. They were found 93 camera negatives in great condition in an antique shop that they believed was from about 1897 - all shot in the Middle East - Palestine, Lebanon, and Egypt.
The complete collection of views that was brought back from Palestine was called "Aux pays de l'enfance du Christ".

Reviews
I'm amazed how well this footage from 1904 is preserved, and how it shows everyday life in Palestine at the time. We see people working, including children. We see children playing. We see families eating. We also get some wide panoramic shots of landscapes and other attractions are also glimpsed. Mulsant and Chevalier did a great job in capturing the peaceful spirit of the area, and it is definitely worth the hypnotizing watch.
