Two Jesuit priests, Abbot Alfred Mulsant and Abbot Célestin Chevalier, made a journey to Egypt, and the Holy land in 1903-1904 to film footage for their lectures about Palestine and Jesus. The resulting film and lectures went under the title "Aux pays de l'enfance du Christ" ("To the lands of Christ's childhood"), and they were used widely for about 18 months. About 20 years later Gaumont distributed them under different the following titles: "Palestine - Programme documentaire"[1], "Palestine: Programme Biblique"[2], and "A Nazareth"[3]. The two former were discovered and restored by Lobster Films in 2007, while the latter is found in GP archives. Together they form most of the films that is contained within "Aux pays de l'enfance du Christ", but not all. This entry is the full list of the all the films made on the journey, but I decided to keep the three other listings as this is how they were distributed later. The total length of the film was about 600 meters, and the sermon also consisted of 110 still views, where some are found as postcards.
