Consist of ten scenes from famous paintings about the Passion of Christ. The movie was shot during the Holy Week in 1900 and was the first Italian film about Jesus. Both Fregoli and Caroline 'La Belle' Otero were known from the theatre. Some sources claim this is from 1897, and maybe there was an early version, but 1900 seems more plausible.
