The film begins with some views of ruined mosques, the banks of the river and the exterior and entrance of the Golden Temple. Then we enter the interior of the Temple where the calf and the sacred cow are kept. From there we go to the Temple of the Monkeys; then we attend the bathing ceremony in the sacred waters of the Ganges Finally we see the construction of a pyre for the cremation of the dead.
