As it still takes a while before the ceremony starts, the nurse is asked to go for a walk with the baby. She meets a young, handsome soldier, with whom she falls into the conversation. When a slightly nicer guy comes by, she leaves the child to the soldier. He must pass the child on to someone else as he is going home to the barracks. And so it goes on until the company suddenly wonders where the child has gone. Fortunately, it has been handed in at the police station where the parents can pick it up.
