Just like many other lost films of events, the title tells most of the content. St. Lazar here is probably Lazar Mladenov, a former Bulgarian Orthodox priest and, later, a member of the Bulgarian Uniat Church in the Ottoman Empire and a convert to Eastern Catholicism. He returned to Catholicism in 1896 and went to Rome.
