In 1906 Gaston Velle moved to Italy, and thus changed his work from Pathe Freres to Cines. This is one of the films he made there. The film was exported to France in February 1908.

A young lady wishing to confess is unable to leave the house, she writes to her spiritual father voluntarily to confess by... telephone. The good priest is very amazed by that bizarre request, but then he complies with the penitent's desire. The confession begins and we can guess from the various expressions assumed by the priest's physiognomy the sinfulness that the beautiful lady confesses...
