Description

We know very little about this film, but we know that the director filed a complaint against the banker De Torrès, its sponsor, demanding royalties because he gave representations of the cinematographic tape in his "Photo-Salon" without the authorization of the director. Fourcade lost the case in the following trial that was held in Pau in 1904, where he was accused of showing the projection since April 1903. The judgment said of the medium that it was an "optical illusion caused by the uninterrupted succession rapid pictures passing in front of the lens and projected on a screen" (translated)
